The strategies used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience was the music and sound effects.  The suspenseful music and and bubble sound effects gives the viewers an intense feeling, which makes it appealing.

Considering the camera angles, transitions and editing techniques, technology has been used effectively because the editing allowed the opening sequence to have the disturbing music. Technology was also used effectively because the camera angles showed close up body parts.
