Genre Research The Final Decision

   Our final genre we have decided to use is, science fiction. The first two minutes of our opening sequence to an original sci-fi film was based solely upon wanting to do something different. We did not want to do the basic action or thriller movie because it would be the easy way out. We want to challenge the status quo of film making for this project. The decision making was tough because we really could execute a documentary style movie really well and leave a good cliff-hanger. But we also like the idea of a mad scientist experimenting on 15 year old girls who thought they were attending a regular sleepover. In a sense the concept seems more appropriate for the project description.
